1. Description

Google forms is a tool that is provided by google drive, It is use for creating surveys, test, or web input forms. I gives anyone access to creating a easy to use web form, that can be tied to a spreadsheet that allows the person to track the results from people filing out the forms. Also it lets the person post the results on the web without having to know programming to be able to do so. When making a google forms there are lots of predesigned form templates to choose to get started making a form. When people are responding to a form they do not have to sign in to be able to respond. Access to the form can be do through any email message or link from a generated web page. Once a person has responded to the forms the results are automatically added to a google spreadsheet. There is a gadget that would allow a person to be able to keep a better eye on their results, all they would have to do is add the google docs forms gadget to their igoogle homepage. This will give a list of recent active forms and highlight any of the new responses on the forms. One of the great advantages of google forms is that it is completely free. All you have to do to create one is to have a google account. Just like anything nothing can be perfect so one disadvantage is that they can not be downloaded google forms are completely online. Overall google forms can be a very affective way for a person interested in a topic to be able to create a form and send links to friends to fill out the form and be able to check the results. It would be a very affective way for a person to be able to do research on their on that does not have a lot of access to resources.

3. Possible uses in the classroom including grade level relevancy, evaluation of the ease and probability of use.

Some of the possible uses of google forms in the classroom would be for a research project for the students where you have them make a survey and send it out to some of their friends and classmates to fill out and then they can monitor the out come of all of the forms. This would be a very good activity for students in higher grades most likely high school. I do know of some of my friends in college having an assignment that is similar to the one I described. Ease of use seemed fairly good. I sure like with most things there are always going to be a few challenges but this seemed straight forward.

4. Possible uses with diverse learners.

This probably isn't the best tool for diverse learners seeing that it does have some multiple steps involved. However if you have a learner with is good with computers this would be a good tool to expose that student too. They would probably be able to do a very good job as well as learn another skill that could come in handy for them.
